Overheard Conversations & the Rosenbergs

Having a late breakfast at a Village Inn near UNO today. (Love their strawberry crepes!) Over heard a conversation... well... bits of a conversation. All I heard really was ..."Rosenberg..." "Which one..." Is it bad or weird that my first thoughts go to Julius & Ethel Rosenberg?

I have no idea who these nice ladies were talking about to be clear. I seriously doubt they were talking about the Rosenbergs that I thought of. Especially considering the rest of the conversation I overheard [comments comparing their ages to other people, where they went to dinner last night (La Mesa), and whether their elderly mother was having a good time)

Other overheard conversations were not so interesting. Two men discussing nothing but business. A hispanic family speaking in Spanish (alas, my Spanish is too rusty to catch more than a few words here & there). A little one asking "mommy" for "bite".

Do I usually listen in on other people's conversations? Yes. Yes I do. You hear amazing things just by listening. Most people don't censor themselves so you catch the oddest things. Then again, you also hear conversations about the weather.
